Seeing these guys tonite, review will come.
Lie to me and tell me this song doesn’t make you extremely happy.
I am ridiculously pumped to be seeing this band friday, part of me thinks that this string of shows might be the last at real small venues. Even though Webster Hall isn’t exactly “tiny” it still is an intimate venue. This band went from playing a basement show in New Jersey to playing Letterman one year to the date just about. Not to mention Bruce Springsteen now has a hard on for the band, and he’s going to have them open for a few shows. Check em out, they kick ass. Who else sings about the Edison, NJ sky?
I can't stop eating at.
Caracas. East Village. btwn Ave A and 1st Ave on 7th street. Arepas might be the best tasting thing I’ve had in a long long time. I believe there is also a Brooklyn location. I’m obsessed with the A20 on the menu, its the last one. Its like Chicken, Chorizo, Guacamole, Chimi Churi Sauce, and just all around greatness.
Good Luck- Pajammin
This band and song are totally refreshing. From Indiana, the right mix of pop and punk that delivers relentlessly forward moving ass-kicking-rock.
Los Campesinos - Ways to make it through the wall
Excellent little song off the new album “We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed”. Two things I really love about this particular song is the dual vocals, which aren’t overdone and compliment each other perfectly. The second aspect I really like is how many layers the song has; It’s not your standard verse-chorus-verse… It has an amazing pickup at like 2:40 in, where you’re being held the chorus and just getting more and more rock instead. I’m going to be listening to this band more now.
